Thanks also to the fruitful exchange of researchers, we are proud to have a wide and active international collaboration network. In the past years, we welcomed several distinguished scholars from abroad. In the first year, we hosted Flaminio Squazzoni (University of Brescia, President of the European Social Simulation Association) and Christina Prell (University of Maryland) from internal funding. We have hosted other foreign researchers, who have paid for their travel and lodging expenses (Jan Kratzer, Technical University of Berlin; Marcel van Assen, Tilburg University; Elias Carroni, University of Namur; André Grow, University of Groningen, and Nikita Krugljakov, University of Maastricht). In the second year, Ilaria Bertazzi (University of Turin), Adam Tatarynowicz (Tilburg University), and Nikita Krugljakov (University of Maastricht) visited us from their own funding. We invited Christoph Stadtfeld (University of Lugano, University of Groningen), András Vörös (University of Oxford, MTA TK „Lendület” RECENS), and Zsófia Boda (University of Oxford, MTA TK „Lendület” RECENS) with the support of an MTA TK Mobility Fund. Melinda Ratkai (University of Huelva, University of Malaga) has been a visiting scholar in our research group twice thanks to different funds. In October 2016, Elena Vallino (University of Turin) visited us thanks to the PEERE COST cooperation STSM (Short Term Scientific Mission).
